About
Lessons:
What does it take to learn the violin? Hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication! I aim to instill these values while providing a supportive, comfortable learning environment for my students. I have a unique musical background. Though I am a classically trained violinist with a a Masters of Music in Violin Performance at Sacramento State, I also have a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. I approach studying music with the same approach that I do studying engineering. Both require discipline, attention to detail, and focused study. I've combined my musical and technical strengths to create a curriculum that works and I'm excited to help you get started on your musical journey!
I have multiple years of teaching experience and teach at a number of locations in Sacramento: Martucci School of Music, New Songs School of Music, J's Music Studio, The Pease Conservatory, and C.K. McClatchy High School Orchestra.
I can drive to your location! I also provide online lessons.
Performance:
I am a dedicated violinist who brings warmth and elegance to every event. I have a wide variety of experience, from playing with professional symphony orchestras to playing with indie rock bands in contemporary festival settings. With a repertoire that ranges from classical music to R&B to Bollywood music, I can ensure a magical atmosphere for any special occasion.

We feel so lucky to have found Beti! She is an incredibly talented and patient violin teacher who truly knows how to connect with kids and inspire a love for music.
She worked with my 9-year-old daughter both in person (at our home) and over Zoom, and the progress my daughter made was amazing. When she started, she was brand new to the violin — now she not only plays beautifully for her age but genuinely loves playing. I never have to remind her to practice — she picks up her violin on her own!
If you're looking for a violin teacher who is skilled, kind, and truly dedicated to her students' growth, I highly recommend Beti. She's made a huge impact on our musical journey, and we’re so grateful!
