FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Well, pricing depends on what you want me to accomplish. My writing is done out of love mostly so I don't make a lot of cash doing that. I do charge $25 / hour for a decent resume of course - the total determined by the number of hours required to organize your background. The more organization you've accomplished, the smaller the hours. I've built pretty good resumes for $50 with a modiconme of work (and, I have a book you chose the form from). As for my other work, I'm not building beautiful kitchens and bathrooms anymore (well, not unless a truely inspred challange appeared) - and I don't have a clue how to price helping some kid learn math or read better... so I don't really know how to answer this. I guess the best answer is I try hard to be fair... and, I take into acocunt the economic situation of the person I am working for. Just becasue some mother makes $60,000 a year doesn't mean she's rich - especially when she's trying to raise three children alone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read... a lot... but not about work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Just fell into it.
