Our two sons, age 8 and 10, have been taking lessons from Tom for nearly 3 years. He's great with kids and works hard to keep them engaged and interested. It's often a struggle to get my kids to practice, and Tom gives them positive incentives to keep them having fun instead of rigid discipline. He gives them a nice varied repertoire with a mix of skill builders, classics, and fun songs of their choice including Star Wars, Harry Potter, and rock artists like the Beatles and Green Day. We're very happy with how our kids have progressed as musicians under Tom's tutelage.

Tom is an Excellent Teacher. He has been working with our son on guitar for over a year and our son has really grown in both his skills and his knowledge. Our son loves his guitar even more now since he started working with Tom.

Words cannot express the tremendous gift Mr. Satterfield has bestowed upon my children. His service has been invaluable in transforming my children’s understanding and expertise of music of math and of the beauty of existence. If you have the opportunity to have Mr. Satterfields mastery of the field of music you would be doing yourself a great disservice to not avail yourself of his guidance of his patience and of his blessing of the language of the gods which is music itself. I cannot recommend him enough.

Tom is an excellent piano teacher. It is because of his instruction that our son is advancing so quickly!
