He unfortunately has acted without any professional courtesy in our business relationship. We have had several occurrences where he just disappears and does not bother to communicate with us. The most recent occurrence of this was this past January. He is now claiming that he was paid late and is missing payment. Before he started washing our vehicles in June of last year I was clear in an email to him that we issue checks twice a month, on the 15th and Month end. It was also understood that he must submit an invoice to us for all his services. He was expected to be here on Wednesdays at 11:00 is weekly to wash 2 vehicles. A few months ago he told us he had a scheduling conflict and we allowed him to switch to Saturdays. In regards to his payment he had requested in the past that we hold his check for him and he would pick up and that appeared to working great, at least if there was a problem he has never told us. Prior to the most recent occurrence he has not shown up or bothered to call until after the fact on 2 occasions. I understand that stuff happens, but I believe professional courtesy requires some sort of notification. He had our office number, my email address and the farm manager's cell phone. This past January he showed up on December 28th missed January 4th, showed up on Jan 11th never indicating there was an issue and then nothing. We called him, texted him etc... On January 24th he finally emailed me stating that he was missing 2 checks and until he received payment he would not come back to wash our cars. There was a check issued on 12/31/13 waiting for him as he had previously requested and a check was issued on 01/15/14 for service on 12/28/13 and 01/11/14. When I asked why he did not bring this to our attention he stated it was because our offices are not open on Saturday, yet he has multiple ways to communicate with us at any time. It's a shame because he does great work, the best car washer we've ever had, but I can not deal with his lack of professionalism and courtesy.
