- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was working as a singer onboard a cruise ship. Because i was traveling to all these beautiful locations, i wanted to have a camera that documented the beauty i was seeing. So, i bought my first professional camera, and couldn't put it down. I started taking pictures of all sorts of things, people, butterflies, flowers, landscapes, and my friends and family started to compliment me on those images and so i kept going and developed a true love and passion for photography.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find a photographer that has the kind of images you want to see for yourself. Do not go for the guy who has the fanciest gear, the loudest website, a million referrals. None of that will matter if their aesthetic doesn't match your own. Look for images you wish you were in.
