They say the MC is the one who "moves the crowd" but its really the DJ ;) I take the time to get to know my clients preferences and taste in music; building playlists and sets individually. Each event, public or private is a special occasion, and I will treat it as such and help to make it memorable. I specialize in R&B/Soul, Hip-Hop/Rap, Pop, Top 40, Oldies, funk/disco, 80's music. However, whatever you would like to hear is what I will play to include but not limited to: Afrobeat, GoGo, Latin Pop, Latin Rap, and Club/House music. I often play for mixed aged groups; and often play clean music so that all guests can enjoy themselves and experience the beauty of good music. I understand there are events in which children/elderly are not in attendance so Club/unedited/Explicit music is always available when requested. Photo Booth and 360Booth services are available with instant/digital gallery. These services start at $100 per hour, when booking along side DJ services. If you are looking to book an event that is more than 3 months out, you will need to contact me directly on ******** or ********* for an estimate. At this time I do not accept bookings more than 3 months out here on Thumbtack.

DJ Sha The Goddess was very easy to communicate with, asked for input for the song selection way in advance, was early to the event and did a great job. The attendees of the event were a very diverse crowd and all seemed pleased.

Where to start?! DJSha delivered!!! She really impressed me, my sweet 16 year old, and my guest. The music was fire, the dancing was jumping, and overall the experience was perfect. She even had my four year old son dancing on the floor! She had people up line dancing, etc! Her microphones were great quality and she had an extra one for me. DJ Sha was early, even earlier than she promised to arrive, and everyone at the party loved her. She was easy to mingle with and kept me on my toes to make sure the event incorporated everything even though I was late by 30 minutes bringing my daughter “the sweet 16 year old” to the party. I am definitely rebooking her and have already shared her info with other guest who want to use her in the future. Now I just hope she don’t get too busy for us! Thank you DJ Sha! We loved your services!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is specific to the amount of people, the duration of the event, and the type of event. it includes a PA speaker/system, microphone, and set/up and break down. I require access to the venue to set up 1.5 hours prior to the start of the event, and I am available for travel. I have traveled as far as Florida for my clients.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will want to contact you about further details of the event phone/text/video chat. I will want to know the vibe/ tone you are looking for, and the flow of the event, and how I fit into that flow. Also, depending on the venue, what I may require indoor/outdoor, personal residence, banquet hall etc. certain events will require more intricate planning. and I will be there to assist in any way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently took a course through a well known DJ's school and earned a certificate after completing a final project.
