After finding ServiceLion through Thumbtack, I was impressed right from the start. The booking process was incredibly easy, and their office communicated so well, making everything smooth and straightforward. This positive beginning set the tone for what turned out to be two exceptional service appointments that far exceeded my expectations.
My first appointment was for a same-day service for a light switch repair (and he even managed to squeeze in the labeling of my home’s electrical panel when I expressed that I had wanted to get it done). Jacob was the technician who came out, and he was very friendly and professional. Even though it was a call later in the day, he made it seem like he was happy to be there and share his knowledge. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was done perfectly.
The second service involved maintenance of our HVAC system, and Tim was the one who showed up to check it out. He discovered a significant safety concern due to the age of the unit and took a video so I could see exactly what he was talking about. He took his time to answer all my questions, thoroughly explaining the situation without trying to hard sell me on anything or apply any pressure. After asking a ton of questions and doing a little bit of diligence, I felt very comfortable contracting with them for a system replacement.

The first hurdle is getting in touch with a live person. That person called me the next day to check up on my call. I canceled my appointment quickly because my husband had called a family member. AI couldn’t cancel my appointment so Service Lion called me to make sure I got through. I felt that the company was concerned enough to call and speak to me personally… that is good customer service! They do a lot of different at home services so I will definitely use them in the near future.

I would call them directly as the Thumbtack app seems to be a chatbot.
They are very nice once I called them.
Unfortunately they were not able to provide the service I needed, which is LED light panels on a countertop to be installed on the base layer before the stone is installed on top.
So I can’t really comment on their overall work quality and will update this if I’m able to hire them for other services
Great experience from Service Lion today! Specifically from Oscar and Jesus. I had been having problems with my EV charger not working. I did all the normal troubleshooting and nothing worked. I googled EV diagnosis and came across Service lion. Very helpful on the phone and setting up same day appointment. Oscar and Jesus arrived in an hour from when I placed the call. They noticed a few problems with my outlet and my electrical panel. I explained the outlet was installed three years ago and the new panel was installed less than a year ago. They explained the shortcuts that were taken and the issues that should be addressed. No pressure, just their knowledge versus mine. I agreed to the new certified EV outlet as well as adding surge protector and repairing the wires that werent done as professional as necessary. They left to get a couple of parts, came back and did all the work in about 1.5 hours. Reasonable price for the materials and time. Both guys super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend and will use for all the other needs they cover. Thanks againRusty
