I had an appointment with (what I thought was a reputable company) on Saturday, March 22, 2014 to come out to clean my vents.After checking my ducts in the attic (and telling me there was too much duct tape), they immediately told me that my ducts needed replacing to the tune of about $4,000.When I balked at that, they gave me a senior discount and a store discount and got the price down to about $2,700.I still told them I would have to do that a later date.They wanted to measure the ducts that day and do the work on Sunday.I told them no way - I had too much to this weekend and would contact them later.Big red flag that it took so much conversation to get them out of my house.I later looked on line for a second opinion.Luckily, one of the company's recommended was Orange County Air Conditioning & Heating.The owner, Greg Bleacher, called me almost immediately and was willing to come out to take a look on Sunday.He was on time and very pleasant.He told me there was nothing wrong with my ducts and they did not need replacing.He also said that the duct tape was normal and the only reason to replace ducts would be if I had rodents that had bitten through the ducts or if a dove had somehow gotten in the ducts.The air flow is fine.I am so grateful for his honesty and expertise (which by the way he did not charge me for). Should I ever have a problem with my air conditioning, I will call Gold Coast Temp Control.

We've worked with Jim for a couple of years now to install our window a/c units - when we first purchased he helped advise us as to the best unit to get and when it comes to installation he's always on time, neat and quick, and answers all of our questions! His prices are always reasonable too.

Great service great prices very professional the installer who came by did a great job very clean they didn't leave me with any garbage the whole thing took about 30 minutes and we fit it around my schedule which was great and he was on time if I have to buy another AC for the summer I will definitely call them back.

Jonathan was very friendly and professional. I hired him to remove a damaged AC and replace it with a new one. Our office has really high ceilings so he brought in a lift. I wouldn't trust just anyone to install this, since we're on the 5th floor.

Called at around 4PM on sunday, Dave arrived at 6PM (which I found pretty fast!) and very quickly found out what was going on. Professional service, fast service, and knowledgeable crew! I really appreciated Dave attitude and service. Definitely would recommend this business.
