Neither Tom nor Eden quote prices over the app. Their prices are extremely high. I recommend you address pricing at the front end with this contractor.
Spoke to a Tom in the Thumbtacks App yesterday. Set up an appointment for today at 10am. Then Eden called me around 7:30 am and said he was in the area. So I allowed him to stop by. He troubleshot the lock figured it out right away and charged me. His pricing tactic was VERY much like a used car salesman. Threw a price of $250 and lowered it to $185. Since he was he here for a whopping 7 minutes I suggested he lower it. He said the best he could do was $150. Most other locksmiths are quoting lower rates.
As of right now the lock seems to be fixed. I’ll update if there are problems in the future.

Tom came to our rescue late at night when we lost our key. We had a tricky lock but he was able to get it open with no damage at all. Amazing service and we recommend him with no hesitation!
