I am so glad I was referred to Sergio to solve my tax problems. I had some major tax problems with the IRS that started with an audit several years back and the situation just got out of control. We first met Sergio Melendez of Semper Tax Relief when he briefly worked for a company we had mistakenly selected to help with our tax problem. We paid a large sum up front and were getting very little assistance. Of all the people we talked to and worked with at this other company, Sergio was the only one that was knowledgeable, caring and concerned with our case. Unfortunately for us, he learned that the company was disreputable and left to start his own company, Semper Tax Relief. Shortly thereafter the other company stopped taking our calls and folded, taking our money with them. We had been very impressed with Sergio, and searched for him online, and luckily, found him. He took on our case and went to battle for us. Sergio's fees were reasonable and he billed us for each step that was taken rather than charge a large sum up front. Even though our case was challenging and the IRS seemed to make it more difficult at every turn. With Sergio's experience and knowledge, he was able to negotiate their road blocks and after a long battle, secure an approved offer in compromise that saved us over $120,000. Sergio is a former marine, as you can derive from the name of his company. He truly is always faithful (Semper Fi) and stays in the battle with you until it's won. We offer flat fee pricing for most of our services. The range of the the fee would depend on the complexity of your taxes or tax situation. We offer free consultations, so that we can get to know your situation and give you an accurate quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client would normally provide the basic information through a basic client organizer. We have a fantastic client portal where the ease of sharing is at the touch of your finger tips. Once we have the basics of the client, we review the tax documents, where we may require additional information or draft a copy for the client review. Should the client portal not rock your world, we can also communicate by email, fax & snail mail.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
