FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In the Locksmith Industry there are some good locksmiths out there but there are also some SCAM ARTISTS. We advise all our clients to ask some simple questions BEFORE they choose a locksmith and to preferably have a locksmith they know is reliable in their phone or contact list so that they are ready in case of any emergencies. Questions to ask your Potential Locksmith: 1. Are you licensed and insured? - many locksmith scammers are not licensed and that is unsafe for you. 2. Where are you located? - you always want to work with a locksmith who has an office so you know that the company is reliable and reputable. Also, you want to be sure that you are working with an actual, LOCAL LOCKSMITH and not some call center because these people aren't invested in the community and don't really care about their customers. Many call centers are located in Los Angeles or New York. 3. Do you have marked service vehicles? - scammers almost always use regular, unmarked vehicles. 4. Can you give me an estimate over the phone? - watch out for this one because scammers will almost always give the lowest verbal price; then they up the price considerably (sometimes up to 10x the verbal estimate) after they have completed the job. 5. Do you have a website? - good question because an online presence can tell you A LOT about a company.
