Chef Sarena prepared an amazing dinner and breakfast buffet for our 20 guests at a Palm Springs 40th birthday party. The food was spectacular and received universal raves from the guests. Chef Sarena was also a delight to work with. She was responsive to messages and helped plan a delicious menu for both meals, soliciting the host's preferences and designing a menu that reflected them. Sarena was so knowledgeable about food and how it goes together. You could tell she was very passionate about cooking and really enjoys making sure her guests have the best experience possible. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to find out what they are looking for. How I can make their event the best ever. And plan a menu that is personal to their wants and needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Im a Le Cordon Bleu graduate since 2006. I have worked at the Jean Michel Fiji Island Resort. Also I have worked at hotels, restaurants, catering and personal chef. I have also been a server and bartender.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I love to know that I am feeding people:) I'm very artistic and love to cook. I grew up with a family of great cooks. My passion grew and I went to Culinary Art School.
