Amazing Experience with 1st Choice Remodeling! I found 1st Choice through Thumbtack and couldn’t be happier. Jorge was the second pro to respond—thankfully! The first quote I got was sky-high, and the vibe was off. Jorge showed up on time, gave me a very reasonable quote to clear a weed-infested yard and install 15,000 sq ft of high-quality sod, and even pointed out things I hadn’t considered. When I asked how long it would take, he said, “We can do it in a day”—and they did! Efficient, professional, and fast. Even with some surprise extras, everything was done beautifully by end of day. Had recessed lights installed and pop-corn ceilings removed in 2024. Had a light issue last month and Jorge Jr showed great professional integrity by coming back to fix it. He replaced the flickering lights and installed all the pending dimmable switches (including 3 smart dimmable switches out of pocket). Also patched few areas of drywall and ceilings. It’s clear he cares about his reputation and customer satisfaction, which gives me peace of mind regarding his warranty on this project.

Renovated extremely old small restroom with mold and removed and retextured popcorn ceiling with recessed lighting installed as well. Process took just below two weeks (likely could’ve been finished in a week but condo was fully furnished after living in it for 25 years) and end product was beautiful.

I contacted George from 1st Choice Remodeling in regards to my sod and rock installation, They responded in a timely manner and scheduled an appointment to view and give an estimate. After receiving a few estimates 1st choice was the better value. George and his crew did a fantastic job with a fast and smooth turn around. George kept me updated and addressed all my concerns with upkeeping newly installed sod and would definitely use him on any future landscaping projects.
