We have worked with SLG General Construction on multiple projects since 2015, including the addition of a master suite, a re-pipe to replace aging galvanized water lines, swapping out a water heater tank for a tankless unit, replacing Formica countertops with quartz, and several other tasks to improve our own home and investment properties. SLG really can do it all, and do it extremely well. We have recommended SLG to many other people looking to renovate their homes or rentals.
Our most recent project involved replacing tile and laminate floors with new luxury vinyl flooring, and a full bathroom update. SLG identified issues with the subfloor and pipes, which were clearly in bad shape. These issues were due to age and "quick fixes" performed years ago by prior home owners. They consulted with us and we agreed to address these issues proactively, saving us money and potentially bigger issues in the future.
The final work product is extremely professional. SLG also has an eye to design, spending extra time to mimic some of the unique features of this 100+ year old structure so the repairs look like the original -- yet new and improved! SLG solved problems on the fly, working with the style we wanted and suggestion solutions that far improved the final result.
