Sam M's review is accurate. I should have given it more consideration. I was able to make an appointment for an estimate with David easily enough. However on the morning of the scheduled appointment at 45 minutes prior to the appointment I received notification through Thumbtack that he needed to cancel and reschedule because he was delayed at another job. I expressed my disappointment with this as he probably knew he had the other appointment when he scheduled mine, or if this appointment was more important to him and he could be delayed to my appointment he should have contacted me sooner to reschedule, not 45 minutes prior to the appointment. When I expressed this disappointment with him he proclaimed that he was well within a two hour cancellation time window. I'm not sure how many potential clients will think that 45 minutes is reasonable to cancel. Everybody's time is valuable. If your time is valuable, search for other providers.

The reason for terrible review is because Mr Martinez was not even able to provide the quote after he spent almost about an hour analyzing the work. That shows that Mr Martinez does not care about Client time and his word because he said that quote will be provided in 3 days and even after multiple reminder i never got it. Very unethical. Correct thing to do is to set realistic expectations with the client and if for any reason you are not able to meet those expectations, let them know and reset the expectation. I don't how something small like providing a quote can be challenging but I guess it was.
