Carmen is the consummate professional dressmaker!! She has made numerous special occasion outfits for me — including but not limited to a wedding vow anniversary (35 years) renewal gown whose ceremony took place in Hawaii, a gown and matching overcoat for a New Years Eve gala and restored a 120 year old family heirloom christening gown.
The last gown she made for me was done long distance - I was in Florida and she was in California. The dress was exquisite! and it cost less than 1/4 of the manufacturer’s couture price. My family has decided to have the gown and overcoat professionally dry cleaned and preserved for future generations!!
Attached is the 120 year old christening gown that was in tatters that Carmen painfully and magically restored. The workmanship that she put into this gown is not seen anymore. Quite simply, Carmen has magic sewing hands. Try her and you will not be disappointed!!
