Introduction: Hello, my name is Robert Bennett. I am the owner of Bennett’s Landscape Design & Maintenance. I am a certified horticulturist, and have an AA in Landscape Architecture. I am halfway through the landscape architecture program at Cal Poly SLO. Also, with about 10 years experience in the nursery industry I have the ability to diagnose and treat many insect and disease issues. Bennett’s Landscape Design & Maintenance is insured and bonded. My primary goal is customer satisfaction. I would love to set up a consultation with you to go over what you would like done. I can do weekly or bi-weekly maintenance.

Robert has been tending to our yard (approx 20,000 sf) for over a year now. He is extremely knowledgeable and is truly passionate about his work. When he started with us, many plants were diseased or failing due to improper pruning, lack of knowledgeable care, etc. Robert has managed to save many large plants that I thought were doomed, and they are flourishing now!
He makes good suggestions when we ask for his input and uses his time really efficiently. He is professional and personable and he communicates really well regarding his schedule and scope of work each week.
We have well over 500 plants and he knows each one by name and how to care for them. Prior gardeners we hired used only one general type of fertilizer throughout the yard (Robert uses specific ones for different plants), they pruned incorrectly and could not diagnose or treat infestations or diseased plants. Robert does it all....irrigation, design, planting, maintenance. We are so happy we found him.

We needed to redesign our irrigation system. I read good things about Robert with Bennett's Landscape Design & Maintenance, and we could not be happier with our choice. He provided an initial consultation and walked through the details of our system's design, modification, and installation.
He went above and beyond expectations and took the additional time needed to find what we were looking forger. Overall:
* He was very professional and was punctual, and provided updates via text before arrival.
* He walked through his approach in detail.
* He listened to our preferences and suggestions and integrated them into the final system.
* We discovered his approach is backed by advanced formal education in the field.
* He is fortunately fairly priced.

Robert is very knowledgable about plants, landscape design and how to maintain a healthy yard. He was responsive to my initial inquiry and showed up on time to both visits so far. He has excellent ideas and suggestion and I'm very happy he'll be maintaining our yard.

Robert messaged me in a timely manner to arrange a time to do the trimming. Messaged me again on the way to the house. Arrived on time, had his own tools, listened to what I needed done and got right to work. He did a great job trimming the lime tree out of the way of the deck, trimming the lilac shrub away from the walkway and trimming another tree from hanging in the way over the yard. His quote was spot on and he did a terrific job. Cleared up the leaves & swept the deck. Gave me some pointers for helping the backyard look nice and is going to be back in two months to put in some low maintenance ground cover. I'm thrilled! A Great Job by someone who knows what they are doing and that does what you need & ask for.
