My wife and I booked DJ Rank1 for our wedding on November 8, 2019. Before making our decision as to who to hire as our DJ, we met with DJ Rank1 and his wife Tess. Let me tell you that this married couple are dynamic and so professional. Tess was on her game with the structure of how the reception would go (keep in mind we only needed their services for the reception; however, they are willing and able to do the music for a ceremony if need be). After my fiancé (now my wife) met with them our decision was easy! We hired them and couldn’t be more happy with the choice. DJ Rank1 knows his music! His mixes and runs into the next song are amazing! Tess was our MC and kept the crowd dancing until it was time to clean up and leave the venue we were at. We didn’t just meet a great DJ/MC tandem. We met a wonderful couple who we will remain friends with long after our wedding. We thank God for them!! Tess and Mark, you guys will be doing our next party whatever that may be in the future. We had no idea how to book a DJ for a wedding and what that would entail, thankfully working with Tess was very helpful and she got us all set up. Then on the actual wedding day it was perfect. Great sound for the ceremony followed by great jams during the reception. You could tell they were feeling out the crowd and just played whatever would keep them moving! Would highly recommend working with them!

We could not have asked for a better music team than DJRank1 Productions! From their flexibility in the very beginning of planning around changes due to the pandemic to truly listening to our music suggestions and preferences, and of course their outstanding professionalism and gorgeous set up the day of - we could not have went with a better DJ/emcee. Not only were they able to entertain our guests with the best music but also engaged with them during the downtime when we were ahead of schedule & our catering team was not ready to serve dinner. The lighting they brought in also set the mood and was a gorgeous addition when the sun finally set at our outdoor reception. I cannot say enough good things! The name “DJRANK1Productions” says it all and more! I’m impressed with the entire set up from the high tech dj sound equipment, lighting, uplighting and flat screen tv for the slide show. Marc is an experienced dj getting the guests of all ages on the dance floor dancing to his mixes and beats. Tess coordinated the details from the start and knew exactly what was needed in order to prepare for the event. It was a pleasure coordinating with her as I was helping the celebrant plan this event. Marc and Tess make a dynamic team. They are very professional, prepared, organized and went above and beyond to make this event memorable and filled with good vibes😁 You guys exceeded my expectations. Thank you! I look forward to the next event!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a flat rate for everything based on the hours which includes music, lighting, equipment and MC services. We also offer addons that will add to the overall final pricing. Please ask us about the addons we offer. A 20% deposit of the total is also due upon booking to secure the date.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically try to get an idea of what you are looking for in terms of the music, lighting and equipment. How long you would need us for, the venue, the amount of guests. At the same time, we try to make it as easy and simple for you during this process.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was in high school and my friends formed a DJ group (this was in the 80's) I joined and picked it up really fast because I've been in music since elementary school (Trumpet, drums)
