Avi came to review the multiple areas I needed repaired and gave me a reasonable quote. He arrived on time to begin the work and offered a few suggestions as to colors and type of materials. Avi from Wooden Onyx was excellent! I hired him to fix a railing on our front steps that had some wood rot / moisture damage from water collecting on it. Even though this was a small job, Avi was very thorough and walked me through his recommended approach. He was extremely responsive during the hiring process and on the execution of the work. He did an excellent job of replacing the rotted section and installing a new redwood handrail and made sure it was sealed off correctly so no future moisture could creep in. He worked efficiently and made sure I was pleased with the work. I’m very satisfied with his work and would be happy to use him again for future projects. He’s also a very easy to talk and we had a good conversation while he went about the job and provided some insight on how to keep the railings in good condition moving forward. 👍

Avi did a fantastic job renovating our old wooden staircase leading to the house. He came up with a solution to protect the wood with metal, found the exact right paint and spend multiple rounds discussing the best options for us.
