- After our meeting, you’ll receive a clear, detailed estimate within a reasonable timeframe.
- There is a $500 minimum for project labor, except for approved change orders on existing projects of $500 or more.

Tony was straightforward from the get-go, his quote was fair and he made the effort to understand our job and our needs. He repaired a shear wall and knew the importance of doing it right. He was also personable and prompt. He got the job to our standards and we are happy with results.

From the time that he came to give us a quote to the time that he finished the job, Tony was professional and friendly. He was attentive to detail and thorough in his two days of hard work. The baseboards that he installed throughout our new home look as good as we'd hoped for. We will definitely hire Tony to come back in the near future, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for great, affordable work.

Tony was great to work with. His years of construction knowledge and experience easily comes through when taking on our remodel project of knocking down our kitchen wall and putting in the supports needed. I was amazed at what he could do without help. I plan on using him again on future projects.

To be honest, I was a little hesitant at first as I didn't personally know, or wasn't referenced to Tony from anybody. He was actually the first contractor I found outside my extended contacts.
In the beginning, there were a few hiccups on both our ends in regards to the layout of the presentations which got me a little worried (just as anybody would).
However, once we got over the initial hump and started seeing eye to eye, our synergy on ideas became apparent for the projects.
He was easy to talk to, and provided his 'technical' assessment on whatever crazy-out-there idea I would present him.
His work ethic was astounding. He was able to meet the deadlines that I presented.
He went over and beyond my initial expectations.
I hired him for the wood deck and horizontal wood fence for my house, and just when he finished the deck, we decided to add a decorative sheer wall that was like icing on the cake.
He was even able to add a few small projects here and there throughout the process as well.
I'm going to highly recommend his work to everyone that's looking to utilize his services.
In fact, I already have him on board for another upcoming project in the works as well!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It can be very difficult to glean the full scope of work and the cost from just a brief description. It is best for both me and the client if I provide them with a proposed project site visit. Please understand that that my time, Thumbtack charges, and fuel costs can be substantial. I do not charge for a site visit so please keep this in mind when selecting a contractor. Neither one of us wants to waste the others time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listen, Listen and Listen some more. What I think may be a great idea may not be what the customer envisions. I like to play detective and look at the client's home to get an idea of the style that best suits them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 40 years' experience in the construction and woodworking trades.
