I wish Thumbtack had a 6 stars feature so we could do justice to top-notch professionals such as Mr. Edwin Cerna.
Ed and his team (Nahum, Jose, and Melvin) are spectacular. They show up on time, and work with speed and quality.
I hired him for a major renovation in my property in Orange County, including:
• Interior Painting (including staircase). • Exterior Painting. • Cabinet refinishing with knob and handles installation (kitchen, 3 bathrooms, linen closet). • 2 x Bathroom new flooring + baseboards. • 2nd-floor baseboard installation (3 bedrooms + hallway).
In the end, he took care of ALL touch-ups necessary to ensure 100% quality of the work. Plus, he went above and beyond and took care of some other minor repairs in the wall (drywall patches) and did not charge extra. He also offered to replace the recessed lights.
I am an engineer with a background in single-family home construction, and I can assert that Mr. Edwin gathers all qualities you will need in a reliable contractor: quality, price and execution.

Ed is amazing! We’ve used him on multiple projects over the past two years. He has done interior and exterior painting as well as most recently our bathroom renovation, including demo and installation of our vanity, tearing off wallpaper, painting, installing the medicine cabinet. I highly recommend Ed!

Edwin was responsive and punctual - he always communicated when he would be arriving to our home and what the process would be for our project. He did a great job paining our kitchen cabinets and delivered exactly what he said he would in the timeline he had initially given. I’d highly recommend hiring him if you’re looking for any painting!
