- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I travel FREE to all customers in Porterville, Lindsay, Strathmore, and TerraBella. After that I have to charge per mile including the trip back 50 cents per mile. All signatures are at their set price to keep this business afloat however, If I'm offered a job that requires 4 stamps their discount rate falls to 13$ per no lower.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually receive requests via text/email and they request a picture of my commission or commission number, after verification they'd tell me what document(s) need to be notarized and when. We'd meed up at a public setting and notarize then and there but if requested we'd notarize in my office. Before completing the stamp I'd ask for ID and UV test it for fraud, then I'd ask how he'd be paying (Cash, Card, Money Order, Check, or Apple Pay). The document would be notarized and recorded, they'd pay and I'd leave him or her my card. The end
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained in ID fraud prevention and I learned about UV and Real ID and Fake ID irregularities. I took a course on General Notary Functions to know what documents exactly i'm notarizing and what attachment they require.
