I can't say enough positive things about Jayson Phillips/Juxtaposition Photography. I have a cabin in Julian that is going to become a vacation rental, and of course photos are the single most important selling tool. I was impressed with the artistic and beautiful photos I saw on Jayson's site. He has a way of capturing the character of place that is unique and stunning. Jason drove up to Julian for the job. He spent meticulous energy composing shots, even moving things around so that each shot is a work of art... Yes, he juxtaposed the best of what is here so that it looks even better. He was professional yet had an open and friendly demeanor which I found a perfect combination of personality to work with. The finished photos are exquisite... again each is a work of art. Once I post them, this place will be booked at maximum capacity. You can't find better than Jayson Phillips at Juxtaposition Photographic Arts.

I hired Juxtaposition for a sexy budouir photo shoot. Something like this was definitely out of my comfort zone and I was very nervous. I talked with the photographer and his wife and they were very respectful and comforting. She told me I could bring a friend which was very assuring. They answered all my questions honestly and upfront. Once I got there they have me a tour of the places we would be taking the pics and that made me comfortable even more. The shoot itself was so much fun! I got to do different poses and outfits so I had plenty to choose from. Jayson is the photographer and his wife helps with poses, hair, clothes etc I was not sure if I wanted a male photographer when researching and ended up choosing him because of how respectful he was on the phone and the pricing was also amazing! Not overly expensive at all! I noticed from my personal experience that Jayson has an artistic perspective not a sexual like most girls would think a man would have with this photo shoot. On top of making me feel comfortable we all had fun! It felt like I was out with a group of friends it was an amazing experience and am even thinking about hiring them for my wedding!:) hire them they are awesome!

Jayson is an amazing photographer. We loved our photos and can't stop looking at them and showing them to our friends and family. He really got my two toddlers involved and captured the moments beautifully. He is now officially our family photographer :)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing includes photography, basic photo edits, and electronic delivery of the final images via Google Drive/Dropbox to you. The final images are high-resolution and unwatermarked. Additionally, at no extra cost to you, I can include web-resolution and Instagram-resolution copies of the final images, which will be included in the electronic delivery of final images. For event photography, at no extra cost to you, I can create a private online gallery for you and your guests from which to download free event images (web resolution).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start off by gaining an understanding of the client's goals and then proceeding to gain the clinet's trust that I will help them meet or even exceed their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-taught in the field of photography, Photoshop, Lightroom, high dynamic range processing, and lighting/light modification methods. This includes reading manuals and online forums, watching DIY tutorials, and practice.
