FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is set after several years of measuring costs and the time it takes to maximize benefits for the clients while minimizing the overall tax burden. The value received is exponentially increased by the amount of time I spend researching a client issue and constantly seeking opportunities to maintain knowledge of current tax laws and other relevant changes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, focus in Accountancy. I'm also licensed by the Department of Treasury as an Enrolled Agent. I served on the Board of Directors for the local Orange County chapter of Enrolled Agents, which is an affiliate of the larger CA Society of Enrolled Agents. Before that, I was an auditor amd legislative analyst for the California Franchise Tax Board. All together, I've accumulated over a decade of experience amd can help you navigate the vast ocean of tax law.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took a tax class in college from a professor we all loved to hate. But she taught that class like taxes were the only salvageable profession in accounting (I graduated in 2006). After taking her class, I realized I do like the numbers aspect, and I do appreciate her intelligence in the matter, and that some day, I wanted to be the tax expert people rely on.
