I wanted to select all 5 of the great attributes, but ThumbTack wouldn't let me. So I would like to add punctuality and value to the already added professionalism, work quality, and responsiveness. George was on time, responded to my request for service promptly, and was very nice and professional when he arrived. I was expecting a much more expensive repair, but George determined that the major part that I thought needing replacement was just a problem with a fuse. George replaced it quickly and the a/c was working again. It was that quick, painless, and easy. I will be sure to reach out to George for all of my needed repairs from now on.

Today I Called George & we got lucky with an opening where he came within 30mins of our phone call & fixed our issue right away. My grandparents had been suffering with a busted A/C most of the summer thanks to their “senior budget.” George arrived fully prepared & very friendly as well as professional. He came in, inspected the a/c unit & furnace as well as check the air ducts. He was able to Determined the problem right away. He Fixed the wires, pvc line, and replaced the freon. The a/c is pumping cold air like never before. His pricing is impeccable & very affordable as well. We will be using him in the future to replace the air ducts that will be due for replacing in the future.

When I turned on my A/C a few weeks ago, the outside fan made a terrible sound. I did some investigating and determined that the fan or fan motor for the condensing unit was failing. I looked up how to repair it, but it was more involved than I was comfortable with. I used Thumbtack to look for a local company to complete the work. My criteria were simple: I needed to get an idea of the cost for such a repair and also I needed the cost of replacement of the unit — the A/C was the original hardware installed when the house was built almost 30 years ago. I also wanted to get a fair price and work with a company I could trust. I put in my request through Thumbtack and received several responses. Some responses were presumptive. One type of reply — “I will be there tomorrow at 7am send me your address” — failed to establish a balanced business relationship and is not considerate of the needs of the customer. George with Straightforward Air, however, stood out because he made no assumptions and instead responded quickly and professionally. A handful of other responses from other companies also made the first cut. I then researched those companies online (ten minutes on Google will tell you everything you need to know about a business’ reputation). It was clear that Straightforward Air had the best reputation around, and the reviews were consistent — they operate with integrity. I asked George to check out my A/C and we set up a day and time to meet. George arrived and immediately went to work trying to determine what was wrong. His findings mirrored my suspicion that the condenser motor was failing, and he also noticed another issue I hadn’t mentioned on Thumbtack: the unit was turning on and off intermittently. He determined the cause of that issue, and we discussed repair versus replacement. The cost to repair the unit was considerably less than replacing the unit, but it was one of those decisions where you have to decide if you just want the thing to hobble along (where it might fail again in the near future) or if you want to replace the unit (which is far more reliable and comes with a warranty). George was transparent about the pros and cons of each choice. George made some calls and provided me a quote with a clear price and timeline. I chose to replace the unit. George arrived a few weeks later (at my request) for the work. He was slightly early for the appointment and was ready to begin work immediately. He walked me through the process and gave me a timeline for completion. Once the work was done, we tested the unit together. I was very satisfied with the A/C and more importantly I was satisfied with the professionalism and integrity of George. TL;DR I researched Inland Empire HVAC companies for my home cooling needs. Straightforward Air is a fair-priced and trustworthy company. George is an enthusiastic and thorough HVAC technician who provides clear explanations and does what is best for his customers.

Simply put he was HONEST and integrity goes a long way now a days with me and service. He had an opportunity to take advantage of me as I am not an AC specialist and would of took his word for any type of repair work. I might not be able to pay for it though right away LOL. But he did a fine estimate and decided all I needed was a cleaning and change out of my ceiling filters and spray out the dog hair from my outside unit. $120 dollars service call and basic maintenance and I had cold air again. Only issue we had was he didn’t have a certain key to open my valves that had covers or something on them...So George I”LoL remind you to get that key on your truck so I can call you out for a recharge of the #3 unit. Thank You for your great service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am very honest and fair with my prices guarantee my work for long-lasting no headaches and things nowadays are so expensive it's not fair we need to be honest with each other just be straightforward
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Making sure they understand how the system works how to maintain it which will extend the life of their equipment.... And also feeling comfortable knowing that me being the installer will be taking care of their equipment because of the warranty that comes with it

I have been in this trade for at least 15 years from new construction property management Light commercial through heavy commercial working with the Union... I have met many people that have taught me hands on and working with inspectors knowing what is the correct way to install
