Update: Jorge supervising his men is 100% better. Came back to fix and cleaned up. Jorge was professional. He arrived on time and gave me reasonable quote for removing carpet and installation of LVP in master’s closet and repair of the builder’s flooring First of all, he sent 2 of his men who speaks Spanish only and to communicate effectively I used google translate. I came from Night shift and before sleeping, I used google translate and told the 2 guys - if any problem please let Jorge know and Jorge to call me and I woke up in between to check. I admit that the installation of LVP was beautiful and he did used NUCORE by Floor and Decor which is of good quality but the main issue was the repair of the living room flooring. I had 2 spare boxes from the builder and one of the box was kept out (shaw brand LVP) and I did put painters tape on the planks that needed to be replaced. It was total of 5 planks that has major dents and scratches that I want to replace. He charged me 270 for that. So at around 1 pm, I woke up and checked and the guys said everything was okay and guy said to keep the chair on top of that spot for glue to settle and they left. I was impressed by the newly installed plank flooring on the masters closet BUT WAS HORRIFIED that only 2/5 planks in living room was replaced. I immediately called Jorge and asked why the guys did not repair the other 3. Jorge explained that the planks I have was not enough but then I said to Jorge, there’s a misunderstanding because of language barrier and told Jorge that I did instructed the guys if any problem to let me and Jorge know immediately. If the guy needed another box Of SHAW plank he could have told Jorge so Jorge can tell me then I could have bring the Supply out. Jorge promised he will sent his men back this Friday around 8-830. He said “don’t worry we will help you” So, he came back Tuesday instead with his men which is 100% better to close the communication and language barrier gap and fixed the problem and also commitment to make sure that it will be done right this time So far the flooring in masters closet. It looks good still after a week
