Jillian is a pleasure to work with! She was very good with communication before our session. She gave us many ideas for locations to choose for our shoot, and helped so much with pricing! The day of our session, she arrived at the time we had agreed upon. We walked through different options of poses, along with her suggestions as well. She helped us feel calm, and relaxed as the shoot went on. At the end of our session, we were pleased with our time spent. It took about a week before we saw our photos, when that was our estimated time. We loved that we can see all of the photos on her website, and to choose the ones we liked best for enhancing. They turned out fantastic! We were able to meet up, and we were given our photos. We had so much fun with Jillian, and cannot wait to have another session with her in the future!!

When my husband and I first booked a shoot with Jillian, it was for our engagement photos. We were nervous because we were clueless about what a good shoot consisted of. Luckily, we had Jillian to help us every step of the way! She helped us choose beautiful locations for our photos and posed us for unique shots. Next on the list was our wedding, but with my husband being in the Navy and deployment coming up, our plans were constantly changing! Jillian was extremely flexible with our ever-changing plans and even though she had just moved to California, she made the trip all the way back to AZ to shoot our special day! She was great at arranging everyone for our family shots and she captured adorable candid moments, as well. I can't even describe how sincere and beautiful our photos have turned out. Jillian gives definition to the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words." We are so thankful to have found such a friendly, sweet, and talented photographer and we can't wait to book her again!

My fiancé and I booked our engagement photo session with Jillian Bratcher as our photographer and WOW!! Not only did we have a blast working with her, but we also got exactly what we wanted in our photos! She listened to our visions and captured them better than we ever thought possible!- especially for two people who are usually non-photogenic :) After we saw the product and services that she guarantees and delivers, we booked her immediately for our wedding day! Jillian was so easy to work with. We have a daughter with special needs who does not like to have her picture taken and Jillian still somehow managed to get some great photos of her. I really appreciated how Jillian handled our session and am thankful for our awesome family photos!

Jillian is wonderful! My photo (online order) arrived with a crease right at the focal point of the pic. (A shipping problem.) When I told her what happened, she didn't even bat an eye and said she would send out a new one. She did so promptly and even through in a surprise. :) Thank you, Jillian

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always on the look out to learn more! Education is all around us.. ya just gotta search for it. Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest- it's filled with amazing talent and new ideas!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in high school photographing more fine art, abstract and film based work. I was asked by a few friends in late high school to photograph them.. totally terrified --because it was out of my comfort zone. I shot their portraits and fell even more in love with photography and knew I wanted to work with people.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently shot 3 hotels in Arizona and the images are now on their websites! I am also in process of working with a hotel in Chandler AZ to document their transition into a brand new Hyatt Place! I am documenting the before, during and after pictures :D
