Honestly when I started looking for a bookkeeper I was only about 75% sure I even wanted or needed one. Oliver Smith was recommended through Thumbtack and after about five minutes talking to him on the phone I was nearly sold on the idea. He suggested a quick in-person meetup to dispel any initial hesitation and to get a feel for who I was hiring to look after my finances. I quickly hired him on the spot and have been employing his services ever since. He is very knowledgeable with Quickbooks and was able to quickly and thoroughly catch my books up to where they needed to be after months of me trying to do them on my own. He is quick to answer any and all questions I send his way and explains what he is doing and makes suggestions accordingly, which he always leaves up to me for final decision making. I highly recommend Oliver to any one who needs someone to look after their books and give them the attention they deserve.

Every situation is unique. I prefer to hear from the client the services they are seeking and what they're looking to accomplish. From there I can get a better understanding of what I can offer the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Accounting and have over 10 years of real world experience working in accounting and finance. I'm also a member of the Institute of Management accountants.
