FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge hourly depending on the scale of the job, and I pass on any discounts I receive as a buyer to my client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we schedule an initial consultation. This can be from 1-2 hours depending on scope of the project. The second meeting is a presentation of the design concept and a proposal of what the project will cost as well as the timeline of the project. Once the design concept is approved and finalized, there is deposit placed and work commences. Depending on benchmarks completed on the project a client can expect to make payments throughout as things complete. This will be discussed up front and agreed upon between the client and myself.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always been a natural at what I do. I believe people have it or they don't. I have always been an artist in aesthetics attending an International Academy of Hair in Washington DC, and Special Effects Make-up School in Orlando, FL. Because of my upbringing in this field, I was drawn back to it after returning to FL and getting noticed by an Interior Designer after dressing windows for my families furniture stores she hired me as her assistant. I worked under her for 2 years and then purchased my own furniture store. My education has always been hands on by other professionals and working in the industry for so such a long time. After owning my own companies I have always stayed on top of whats new in the trade and constantly attend many trade shows.
