    We got married in August 2016 and used Diamond Sonic for our DJ. Liam was a pleasure to work with! He met with us before the wedding and really listened to what we wanted in terms of music. At the wedding itself, everyone had so much fun- Liam played a great selection of songs, and literally got some of our 80+-year-old guests out there on the dance floor!! Go Liam!!! His speakers were very impressive- our only complaint were at one point, they were so impressive that it was a bit hard to hear conversation over them- but when we went up to him and asked him to lower the music a little, he was great about doing that. Liam is a huge part of why our wedding was such a fantastic day- would definitely recommend him.

    Liam was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ and all our guests had an absolute blast thanks in large part to the awesome music that he played. He brought a level of professionalism and sincerity that no other DJ we met matched. He was more than willing to go the extra mile in terms of playing whatever music we wanted at our wedding, and varied it up enough so that both older and younger guests felt welcome on the dance floor. We had so many compliments at the end of the night about Liam. I can't recommend him highly enough.

    Dealt with Liam from the beginning of booking and he was smoooooth all the way through to the end. He made me feel comfortable and taken care of every step of the way. Played the type of music i wanted and came up with a great playlist. I had the best time using him and would recommend Diamond Sonic to anyone.

    Liam spent lots of time in advance making sure that he had the exact songs we wanted, many of which he had to buy because of our weird requests. He was also the MC and did a fantastic job. Really can't say enough to express appreciation for a service that is so integral for a wedding (music and vibe!!). All the guests had a great time and I was impressed at how many danced. Liam Shy and Diamond Sonic did the best job of any wedding that I have personally attended.

    Liam from Diamond Sonic was a fantastic DJ and host for our company party. I had to do absolutely NOTHING in this process, which of course, really appealed to me. I got the credit for a fab party but Diamond Sonic did all the work! They contacted the venue directly to arrange early arrival, were completely set up when I arrived, and their team's professionalism and seamless DJing made it a stress-free event for me. They took direction when there was a request, took the lead when there was a lull, played fantastic music and had an endless selection great music. I will absolutely be using their team again!

    Diamond Sonic is the best!! They are organized, professional and Liam takes the time to customize your wedding music to exactly how you want it. He is very intuitive with the crowd and seemed to know exactly what to play. If you want a great wedding with a DJ that has everyone up and dancing then Diamond Sonic is the way to go!

    Diamond Sonic was easy to work with from beginning to end. The staff were professional and brought all the details together, and our DJ was great. He took what we wanted into account and kept the party on the dance floor! I would definitely work with them again, and absolutely recommend them for a hassle-free experience.

    DJ Liam Shy was amazing and everything I wanted. He had the dance floor packed all night, played everything I asked for and made great suggestions too. He knew exactly what to play at the right moment. Everyone (including my parents) have not stopped talking about how great he was. Our friends had a blast dancing, and I could not be happier with how the night unfolded. There was one point when I took a look around the room, and there wasn't one person sitting down! Awesome!!

    Liam was absolutely awesome! We hired him for a 70's theme 50th birthday party and it was flawless start to finish! He was professional and played all the fabulous disco favorites we love! He has state of the art equipment and lights and was very affordable too!

1 - Connect to determine needs / scope of work 2 - Submit Initial Quote 3 - Communicate with client to discuss Quote 4 - Upon approval of Quote, submit Contract for Signature 5 - Secure 50% deposit to confirm work 6 - Perform site visit to determine venue needs 7 - Receive master schedule / run of show from client 8 - Arrive to venue day of event for setup 9 - Run event 10 - Breakdown 11 - Connect with client post - event to discuss run of show 12 - Keep in touch to work together in the future

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been DJ'ing since I was 16 years old. My first job running live sound was when I was 14. This is something I've quite literally been doing all my life.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common jobs include: Sound System Rental, DJ Services and Audio Engineering. We do everything from high end corporate events to small private parties, weddings and family events. No job is too big or small, we are very flexible and happy to bring the highest level of service to all of our clients.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently had the distinct pleasure of working on a non-profit event to raise money for contributions to various medical fields to aid in the treatment, care and research for serious diseases. The event had multiple aspects including a 5k race, DJ & Music, as well as a Yoga area that required sound and microphones. Being able to not only work in a field that I love, but also help to raise money to strengthen our community, was a double win!! Side note - we are happy to offer non-profit discounts!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure to go with a company that has a proven history of reliability and quality. Checking the Client reviews, inquiring about the quality of equipment and receiving a fair quote in a prompt and timely manner are all important factors! Make sure the provider has a solid website and can prove that they take their job seriously. If you are inquiring about a DJ, seek audio examples of their work!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
• Always make sure your vendor has Insurance (Liability) and can provide you with a custom certificate for the date and location of your event. • Always make sure your vendor has Workers Comp coverage as well - many venues require this before they will let your vendor step foot on their premises • Always make sure to thoroughly communicate music requests in advance - especially if the DJ may need to download any music ahead of time • Always make sure to setup a site visit whenever possible, to meet with the DJ and make a plan for placement and schedule ahead of time • Always make a detailed run of show - and submit it to all your vendors in advance so everyone is on the same page • Always make a floorplan with detailed placement of sound, lighting, catering, bar, tables, dancefloor etc • Always make sure to save your vendors cell phone numbers into your contacts well in advance of the big day! • Always have fun, and smile! :)
