We needed to convert our half bathroom to a full one within time and architectural constraint. George was very responsive and moved fast. He managed all the design work and guided me to all the items I needed to buy for the bathroom.
After the work was done, there were a few rough edges left, but they came back and took care of every single one of them to our satisfaction.
We are now very happy with the bathroom and it ended up looking much better than what we had expected and with high quality.

We worked with Bark & Build Builders to remodel three of our bathrooms, and overall it was a great experience from start to finish.
We initially met with Miki just to discuss the scope of the project and our vision for the bathrooms. He was extremely cooperative, approachable, and genuinely easy to talk to. We had spoken with several contractors in the Bay Area, but Miki really stood out. The initial conversation itself gave us confidence, and we decided to move forward with Bark & Build.
Once the project started, Miki was very prompt in helping with the bathroom designs and submitting permits to the city. He kept us informed with regular updates throughout the permitting process. While the permits took some time, Miki made that period productive by guiding us on material selection. He provided a detailed list of everything we needed and suggested good stores to shop from. We maintained tracking sheets for materials, which made the entire shopping process organized and stress-free.
Miki was also very flexible with design choices and tile selections, with no surprise or additional costs. There were a few demolitions involved as part of the remodel, and he was very cooperative and accommodating throughout.
During construction, we also worked closely with Mike, who led the remodel of our master bathroom. We encountered a few unexpected issues along the way, and Mike did a great job helping us navigate them calmly and efficiently. Communication was excellent throughout the process — we were consistently asked for feedback, kept in the loop, and always felt heard.
The first bathroom went smoothly, and the remaining bathrooms were remodeled simultaneously. The on-site team that handled tile installation and finishing work was extremely professional, punctual every day, and made sure to clean up after their work. Their attention to detail and professionalism really stood out.
Overall, it was a pleasure working with Bark & Build. They were highly communicative, responsive, and involved at every stage of the project. Miki remained engaged throughout, and both Miki and Mike ensured the process was collaborative and transparent. I highly recommend Bark & Build Builders and would absolutely work with them again.

We begin with a phone consultation to book an appointment, a complimentary on site estimate to view the space and further connect on logistics, and then dive into estimates, options, pricing, designs, shopping for material, and all necessary measures to make navigating the world of home remodeling as streamlined as possible while meeting your original goals, and needs initially presented.

As licensed contractors with a combined experience of 15+ years, we have grown our team into a hub of in- house designers, engineers, architects, permitting specialists, and more!
