- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to be a successful software engineer for NeXT and Apple computer. I was highly compensated, but I was not enabled to fully unfold my creativity. So one day about 12 years ago I decided to follow my heart and become a full time photographer. The last ten year have been the best of my life. Time and being passionate about what we do, is more important than all the money we could make. I highly encourage anybody to follow their heart as well. Life is too short to have a job that you do not love!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
How do you differentiate between an experienced and inexperienced photographer? When you look at your photographers portfolio, make certain you look at complete events as well. Are people relaxed, do you get a sense of all the different stories that unfolded? Are all different types of photographer from the requested photos to the casual ones handled equally well.
