FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At SoCal Accounting LLC, we aim to provide fair, transparent pricing based on the scope and complexity of the work. We offer both flat-rate packages and hourly billing, depending on the type of service — whether it's one-time clean-up, monthly bookkeeping, tax preparation, or consulting. There are no hidden fees, and we always provide a clear quote up front before starting any work. For ongoing clients, we often offer bundled service discounts or monthly retainers for better value and consistency. We’re happy to customize a package that fits your needs and budget, and we believe in being upfront and flexible so you feel confident about the investment you're making in your business.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Great question! At SoCal Accounting LLC, we aim to make the onboarding process smooth and efficient. Here's what you can typically expect when working with us: Initial Consultation – We start with a quick call or email exchange to understand your business, goals, and the specific services you need. Document Review – Once we have a clear picture, we’ll request access to any necessary documents (such as prior tax returns, bookkeeping files, or financial statements) to assess where things stand. Proposal & Engagement – Based on your needs, we’ll provide a clear scope of work, pricing, and a timeline. Once agreed upon, we’ll send over an engagement letter for e-signature. Onboarding & Cleanup (if needed) – We’ll walk you through next steps, including software access (like QuickBooks or Bill.com), cleanup of any prior records if applicable, and setup of recurring tasks. Ongoing Support – Whether it’s bookkeeping, tax prep, or consulting, we’ll keep in close communication and provide updates, reminders, and expert guidance throughout the year — not just at tax time. We pride ourselves on being responsive, approachable, and highly organized so our clients feel supported and confident.
