I cannot say enough about Thinque Prep and Joyee Lin. He is dedicated to his students success and does a very thorough job of preparing them for the ACT or SAT test. My son, Zack, who is very bright but requires a lot of patience worked with Joyee over the summer and brought his composite ACT score up from 30 to 33. His math score increased a full 4 pts. and he scored a 35 in English. Thinque Prep has other services related to tutoring and college application preparation. Zack will be working with Joyee on his college application essays. Joyee is in California and we are in Texas but this was never an issue as the sessions are done via video chat. The office manager Jen was great to work with and the appointment process was easy to navigate. I found the rates to be very competitive for like services. If there was a way to give extra stars I would!!

Mauri was by far the easiest to talk to, friendly and above all, intelligent, organized and creative minds I have ever encountered. Always terrified writing my own resumes, with several bad and uncomfortable experiences with third party companies who never seemed to listen or convey the information I gave them, it was a true breath of fresh air to find Mauri. Not only did she actively listen to me go on and on with the patience of saint, but was kind enough to help me find the self esteem and for the first time in my life, have a resume I not only feel comfortable representing me, but proud to present to perspective employers. I am a software developer looking to gain some knowledge in statistics for developing automated stock trading systems. JD and I corresponded many time through Thumbtack, but I did not use his services. He was honest enough to tell me that the likelihood of writing a profitable system is very low. He also has a background in IT, which makes me respect his opinion even more. I would recommend JD, and if I ever need statistics help he will be the first person I call.
