Our approach is:
First, I need to understand your level/ coordination ability. People have different way of learning and have unique natural movements.
To get to your desired playing level, I believe that technic needs to be simplified and be based on fundamentals. In order to get there, the goal is to understand the roots of every movement and understand that each player develop his own flow. Issues need to be tweaked one at a time and develop the muscle memory with a lot of repetition.
If you are looking for a sparring parter we can do that too :).
I teach all ages and all levels and help you improve all aspects of your game.

I have taken 4 lessons so far with Adi and they’ve all been great! I haven’t played tennis since I was a young child and I’ve learned so much in the last 4 lessons. He is very patient and his techniques really work!

It’s unfortunate that it has taken me 30 years to find Adi. Simply put, Adi is the best teacher of tennis I’ve ever had. Adi listens, Adi watches, then Adi enables with a game plan designed just for you. Most pros are cookie cutter, many have one size fits all lessons. From our first moment on court Adi understood what I needed to improve my game which has been sitting at 3.5 for too many years. Now I’m hitting the ball confidently with driving topspin thanks to Adi’s style of teaching. He is punctual, professional, calm and gives great value for the cost of the lesson. After playing for a few years, I thought it was a good time to get some new insight in to my game. Adi was able to quickly identify areas I could use some improvement and helped me start implementing some changes. The part I really appreciate about Adi’s coaching is his adaptability and ability to articulate and make things easy to follow. If something’s not quite clicking for me, he’s able to quickly shift gears and have me try different, simple exercises that still get me to the same result we’re looking for me to achieve. This is a quality I have not come across in many tennis coaches before, and is something I value when finding a coach.

Adi is a passionate, hardworking guy with excellent knowledge of all the techniques and little details of tennis. Even though I’m a beginner (4months) player, he had very straightforward and helpful drills from many years of teaching experience that really helped me improve my overall skills and mentality! He also really seemed to enjoy tennis as he himself is an expert and was happy to answer the blizzard of questions I had. During the lessons, he would constantly ask for feedback to find the perfect comfort zone for my playstyle and helped in fore/backhand(even though he is one-handed, he knows as much about the two hand backhand), serves, etc.
I’d say his lessons are not only the best-bang-for-the-buck, but also one of (if not the) best quality in the Bay Area!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
- If the sessions will be outside Richmond/ El Cerrito Area, additional charge may be added.
- Lessons will take place in the public courts and depend on availability. (price of booking a court not included)

* 3 person lesson $40/person-hr
* 4 or more person lesson $35/person-hr
