I hired PurePath to help repair a 13-year old Thermador oven. I really appreciated the professionalism and thoroughness of the PurePath technicians, together with their transparency and effort to appropriately manage expectations.
When I first contacted PurePath, I was pretty sure that the problem was with the oven controlboard. PurePath was able to confirm that they could replace the controller for my oven model, and volunteered a quote for their work and the price for the replacement part (which was consistent with the manufacturer's price). However, since the controller is a relatively expensive part, they suggested that they first take a look at the oven, with the cost of the first service call creditable against the total price of replacing the controller. During their first service call, they checked other possible causes of the oven's malfunction (completely removing the oven from the wall and disassembling elements for testing) before concluding that the controller was indeed the probable issue. During their subsequent service call, they replaced the controller and tested the operation of the oven under different settings to ensure the problem was fixed.
Whether it was being so thorough about their approach to troubleshooting my issue, or just being thoughtful about communicating the time of their service calls, it was a pleasure to work with PurePath.

Ben was very attentive and showed up on time with plenty of warning. He was polite and identified the issue right away. He came to a quick conclusion that the water hose needed to be replaced and left to go to Home Depot with his tools here. He showed me the receipt of what he bought and the whole thing was done on time. Very impressive and would absolutely recommend them to anybody who needs fridge repair.

Ben was very responsive to my fridge repair needs. He is flexible with our work hours. He was knowledgeable and helpful with the repair needs and causes. He got our ice maker and water dispenser working again after years of being out of service. I stored his number and will be looking for him on future projects.

Ben came right away, diagnosed the problem, immediately went to the supplier to get the part and came back and installed it. The part cost what it cost; I don't think he added any markup, and the cost for his labor, especially considering he had to go get the part, was very reasonable. I can recommend him without hesitation, and will use him again if I have a problem with another appliance. The fix he did he guarantees for a month.
