FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees depend on the property type, size, location, and purpose of the appraisal (for example estate, divorce, or pre-listing). I give you a clear flat fee up front before we schedule, with no hidden charges. Payment is accepted by credit card, check, cash, or Zelle.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) We talk about the property and why you need the appraisal, and I quote a flat fee. 2) We schedule the inspection at a time that works for you. 3) I inspect the property, measure it, and photograph the interior and exterior. 4) I research comparable sales and complete the report. 5) You receive a signed, USPAP-compliant appraisal report by email, and I'm available to answer questions afterward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a California Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser (License AR043509), on the HUD FHA Appraiser Roster, and a licensed California real estate salesperson. I hold a B.S. in Business Management from Western Governors University and complete continuing education to stay current with USPAP and appraisal standards.
