About
GSHC is an adult-assisted, live-in facility for the elderly 60 years old and over. GSHC is licensed to care for ambulatory, non-ambulatory, dementia and hospice. It offers a homey environment for the individual who is no longer able to live alone but does not need the degree of care of a convalescent hospital.
It is our desire to provide a beautiful and loving environment for the residents, encourage them to maintain and cultivate their fullest capability for independent living through participation in planned activities and to promote health and wellness, physically, mentally and spiritually.
Our basic services include the following:
* medication management
* three nutritious meals daily and snacks
* lodging (single room or shared room)
* continuous care and supervision
* observation for emotional, mental, social, and physical functioning changes
* notification to resident's family, physician and other appropriate person and agency of resident's need
* assistance in bathing, dressing, toileting, eating and personal grooming
* planning, arranging and/or providing for transportation to medical and dental appointments
