- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a member of several web based training programs to continue to learn new and innovative ways of designing. We feel with as often as the styles we can never be complacent with how we do things.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We had always planned to open a little flower shop when we finally retired. Our friends had other plans for us though. What first started as a favor for a friends sister has now turned into a dream come true. As a young kid, Robin played florist with her grandmother who ran a little shop in their hometown. She learned the basics to designing and inherited the passion for the art. After working in a few different shops Robin left the industry to pursue a career path in accounting. After marrying Steven, she shared her vision of a little flower shop and with his support the rest is history.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
A majority of the events we currently serve are weddings and bridal showers. We've been fortunate to have also been able to provide our services for baby showers, engagement parties, church receptions and funerals.
