We had the privilege of working with Mary for our wedding in late August. Mary was able to accommodate us last minute due to our previous florist having to cancel. Mary was very responsive and priced very reasonably compared to other florist. Our flowers turned out beautiful and I would 100% recommend to anyone!!!

I have not hired her, and will be looking to go somewhere else. At first, she seemed really nice and not a bad response time. However, not once in our correspondence back and forth did she mention any extra charges. She suggested we meet to go over details and I agreed. I went into her home, she seems to know what she was doing. She told me she would send me an invoice with an estimate. When I received it, it also came with a letter telling me that I owed her a consultation fee. I'm sure she is a great florist and makes pretty arrangements, but to not mention once how there is a fee just seems unprofessional. I would have gladly paid it if she was upfront. But she wasn't which makes it so disingenuous and I will not be giving her my business. To be clear, I DID NOT have a problem with the amount that was charged, or with there being a service fee. My problem is with the fact that no fee was disclosed BEFORE our meeting. I am worried that further such surprise charges could appear in the future, and as such do not feel comfortable moving forward with Enchanted Unicorn.

We hired Alex to be both our florist and our month of coordinator, and we couldn't have been happier! She took into account our vision, our venue, our personalities, and our budget(!) into everything that she and her team created for us. We had a great discussion about everything and she provided a wonderfully extensive floral proposal with tons of images to illustrate the flowers that would be used and the direction of styling and line item costs clearly explained. Everything on the proposal looked exactly as I had envisioned and then somehow, came out even better in person! Leading up to our wedding, Alex took a look through our proposed rental list and was able to incorporate pieces she already had in her inventory (e.g. easel, table cloth, some styling pieces), as well as point out where we could reuse pieces, to help save us some cost, which was greatly appreciated. I know this is a floral review, but I can't help but point out that Alex and her team were an absolute blessing as far as coordination. She reached out to our vendors and coordinated with the various entities to make sure everything ran smoothly. When we were concerned that we would get rained out, she was able to run us through our rehearsal and our rain plan rehearsal, without a hitch. No matter what came up (like a button on my dress breaking while getting dressed!), she was able to come to the rescue. She and her team made everything go so smoothly, that despite a storm throwing a small hitch in things, we weren't concerned with anything and were able to sit back and enjoy our whirlwind of a wedding! We're definitely not planning on having another wedding, but if we had any other event, we certainly wouldn't hesitate to contact Alex again! Thank you!
