Mike is a great instructor. I was a novice in the self defense game. Mike was patient and took time to provide proper instruction. Mike would spend time with each student and demonstrate proper techniques. I have moved out of state and can't find another instructor like Mike.
Ryan did a great job listening to what I wanted help with, took the info I gave him and formulated an easy-to-follow lesson that wasn't short on info and details, but didn't feel crammed either. If you want help with broad concepts or breaking down minute details, Ryan can tailor your lessons to your strengths, weaknesses, body type, etc. He offers flexible scheduling and a reasonable rate and I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their grappling.
Where do I began, Jarrod is an amazing coach hands down! When I first started training with him I always felt I was going to fail, but he believe in me so I started to, he got me in the best shape of my life and ready for a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament in 4 months in the boys division. Jarrod is the definition of intensity he loves doing this, and that's what makes his coaching that much more beneficial cause all he want you to do is try, never give up and push your self. By training with him I never thought it would effect my thought process my emotions and my life in such a positive way. I wouldn't want to train with anyone else. I have such high respect for Jarrod! Nothing but amazing coaching he's a joy to be around and he knows what he's doing! Why wouldn't you want a instructor like him?
Amanda is the right match of a trainer for me, and I'm enjoying learning a new sport.
I worked with Jody for years doing personal training and martial arts. He helped me get into shape and get excited about fitness and working out. He has a lot of expertise in martial arts, personal training, and nutrition, and is an excellent motivator. Very high recommendation!
I'm in my early 50's, and have been working with Colton for about 6 weeks now, with a goal of weight loss, strength training, and general fitness, and I feel great. He's helped me with some posture and range-of-motion issues, after years of a sedentary lifestyle. Besides being very personable and outrageously fit, he is a teacher, and shows not only how to do the exercises and avoid injury, but explains the "why" behind the routines as well. And he makes the workouts interesting, throwing in some boxing and self-defense, along with the variety of routines designed to meet my fitness goals. Hes very conscientious and considerate of my time and abilities. I highly recommend Colton to anyone looking for a personal trainer.
I have been doing Krav under Josh's instruction for six months and can tell you that the results are amazing. If you want to lose weight and tone up quickly he is the one to help you do it! More importantly, I have learned so much from his self defense training! He teaches you to be ready for any and every scenario that could come your way. The best part is that he charges half the price of other instructors that have way less experience. Josh is worth every penny, you won't be sorry! Misty
We offer martial arts training in the art of Shou' Shu' Kung Fu. Shou' Shu' is a purely self-defense system rather than a sport. It's an ancient martial art that is true to its origins.
I've been doing martial arts and MMA for 25 years. I'm looking for a client who has a son or daughter/parents who want to learn how to defend themselves.
I teach self-defense and sports jiu jitsu at Gracie Jiu Jitsu and have a brown belt. I offer excellent one-on-one instruction; let's roll.
I've been doing martial arts since I was 12, and I started with tae kwon do and got my black belt by the age 14 and my junior instructor certification at the age of 16, and I have been teaching off and on since then. What you'll get from me and not anyone else is that I have studied every aspect of martial arts, from the physical kinesiology of the movements and techniques we do to exercise/weightlifting techniques and regimen composition and nutrition and eating habits and also the most commonly overlooked aspect, the mental and psychological (spiritual) side which is very important for a well-rounded martial artist and especially for anyone who wants to become a black belt. As for me, I am a third-degree black belt in tae kwon do but also a black belt in judo, hapkido, tae kuk mu sul, and aikido, as well as being well versed in many more style and arts. I competed in numerous point-sparring tournaments when I was younger and loved it. I also played high school football and college rugby which also effected effects my athletic style.
My Father is my Instructor and we have created our own style to better ourselves to become unique from all other styles. We are pioneers of the real mixed martial artists.
