Albert did a phenomenal job with my wedding video! He was also a delight to work with! He was so patient and worked ever so hard (my wedding was a 12 hour event!) I think the hardest part for him was editing the video and making sure all the highlights I wanted were included in my video. He did not disappoint! I got every clip I wanted, and he incorporated all my favorite music and did everything I had requested. It's been a year since my wedding and recently watched the video again and all the best memories were captured! Thank you Albert for being the most responsive, patient person to work with and developing a quality wedding video that my husband and I (and now our daughter) will always enjoy!!!!
Kyle provided excellent service. Besides producing and recording music, he also gave me a great introduction to studio functionality. Thanks!
I've been taking guitar and singing lessons with David for a few months, and I've got to say I've had a really great time learning from him! David is an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable teacher who clearly cares about his students and their goals, and better still has played and performed with the artists that I like best. It took me a while to find a teacher who was willing to teach me the music I wanted to play instead of starting with their core competence, so it was really refreshing that within a month or two with plenty of practice I was able to learn one of my favorite songs (Three Rounds and a Sound by Blind Pilot, if you're curious), and a little longer to start singing it, which I was really stoked about. He has been great about breaking things down when the piece we're working on is too challenging. David has also pushed me to pursue my goal of creating music, helping along the way to create melodies and lyrics. I have to say, it takes a great teacher to get me to sing and to share lyrics with them (do you know how embarrassing that can be?). I could go on, but suffice it to say, David is a great teacher, and I'm really glad I started taking lessons with him.
Perfect night and perfect DJ! Professional, friendly, highly skilled and has ALL of the music yiy will ever need! Has a great mix of old and new music! Read the crowd expertly! Will definitely be our DJ for future gigs! Excellent value and Excellent Quality!
From the very start Deborah showed herself to be a truly outstanding instructor. I assumed progress would be slow, given that I have to natural talent for singing; but in our first session alone Deborah imparted on me techniques and information that immediately improved the quality of my voice, as well as giving me the confidence to explore my vocal range. Apart from her obvious expertise in this field, Deborah was at all times a wonderful person. She remained patient with me despite several issues in scheduling appointments, and her general demeanor both in and out of the music studio demonstrated that she sincerely cared about me as a person- not just a client. A good teacher doesn't have to be a nice person; but it definitely makes them more fun to work with.
James is a great piano teacher. He is patient and has the ability to get the most out of the student. He inspires everyone to do their best. James covers all styles of music and can adjust to the student's needs. Highly recommended.
Nick always made music fun. Our son had a great small group experience, playing music he really enjoyed. He had opportunities to preform in public which was great experience.
I'm a beginner to guitar, having played a little piano and drums before. Been working with Chris for a few weeks now and it has been a blast. He's a talented musician who is connected to the music scene. I wanted a guitar teacher who was connected to the local music scene, and so I've really enjoyed working with Chris and even going to see his band perform. I also love how Chris walks through songs and is able to write out the tabs and chords on the fly, and then on top of that show me multiple ways of playing the same song. Highly recommend.
I am a seasoned wedding video producer. I hired Frank Sosa to be a second shooter for a premium wedding package at a Napa winery. Frank really knows his stuff and is an excellent shooter. Frank, was punctual and worked with a very challenging group of people with grace. The shots frank took were excellent. He has a great sense of composition and he knows how to accommodate for challenging lighting situations. I'm looking forward to working with Frank in the future.
This guy is your one stop shop for projects; composer, producer, and engineer.
5 stars aren't enough to describe the exciting atmosphere walking into Studio 132. BZ is the most down-to-earth, amazing human being who is very efficient and willing to bring your music to life. I've been working with Studio 132 for the past two years and couldn't have found a better home to record.
I had the good fortune of utilizing Chad Nelson's photography skills for several of my listing just this year. He an indispensable member for his company. If you want a photographer who is punctual, polite, and produces a quick turnaround time, then, he's your photographer of choice!
I wanted a song i wrote to be produce for a contest. I contacted Felton because he was the only one willing to take the music I had in my head and turn it into a song. I arrived at his studio where we had tea and got to know each other. He seemed genuinely interested in my music. He made my song much better than I could have anticipated. He helped made my vocals sound better. He worked hard all day on my song. I strongly believe he is the best in this business.
Working with Nathan Reich was a dream! He has a positive and calming energy, which made me feel like the camera wasn't even there. He filmed a behind the scenes portrait of the recording process of my latest album, so that quality was key in order to avoid interrupting the creative process that is recording music. He received feedback from my team with grace and sent us drafts efficiently and promptly. Each step of the process was easy and fun: pre-production and planning, the filming days, and the editing process. Start to finish, Nate was a total professional, not to mention an incredible artist! In love with the final cut of his film.
Wendy brings a wealth of knowledge about music and singing, combines it with enthusiasm, genuine caring, and experience, and channels it all into her teaching. Lessons are always fun, engaging, educational, and tailored to the student's unique voice and abilities. I'd recommend Wendy to any aspiring singer of any age without reservation. - Horst, San Rafael, CA
He's my cello teacher. I'm a beginner at cello but have extensive music training and experience. Joseph is a very skilled cellist. He's classically trained but is proficient at a variety of styles including hip-hop, jazz, etc. His teaching style (for me at least) encourages breaking down the parts of playing to focus on specific techniques, often assigning exercises that require patience but can push me to the next level. He has good feedback for me and lets my interests drive the program. When I had minor complaints about the workload, he took the feedback well and quickly enacted adjustments. His schedule is a little chaotic during the summer since he's a working musician but he's always punctual and communicates (mostly through texts) responsively.

I have a student-centered approach, which involves being attentive to how the person learns and the caring for focus of their intentions -- what they hope to learn. I've been teaching private guitar lessons 'formally' since 2001, shortly after graduating from the Musicians Institute's professional guitar and recording arts programs. During the last six years, I have also been an instructor of music theory for audio engineering students as well as for students of psychoacoustics at the Globe Institute in San Francisco. This is college-level music theory presented in a condensed format with specific applications in mind. Myriads of nationalities, cultures, ages, genders and musical backgrounds accompany the people who make up those classes, and they have helped me develop the skill for relating this material to all manner of people simultaneously. As a result, my one-on-one classes are even more enriched. My goal is to help you reach your goals in the most simple and joyful manner. The basics of what I offer are as follows: * Guitar -- Most Styles, Beginner and Intermediate * Recording Software -- Logic, Ableton, Native Instruments, Etc. * Music Theory -- Beginner and Intermediate * Ear Training * Composition * Songwriting * Audio Engineering/Production -- Beginner * Inner Music Theory -- A Psychoacoustic/Sound Healing Approach * Piano -- Beginner I also offer a generalized musician package in which any or all of what I teach is thoughtfully organized for your goals. Included are basic vocal coaching, percussion rudiments and loads of other pertinent basics.
