- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I constantly challenge myself & thrive on not getting stuck in a one style category. I practice new looks 1-2 times a week & I am very consistent on keeping up with the ever changing cosmetic trends, products,tool's & skincare regimes in addition to breakthrough cosmetic/skincare technology. My top sources consist of fashion magazines, seminars & workshops as well as attending all class' offered by MACPRO in San Francisco & watching all educational videos offered @MACcosmetics.com
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm a natural. I was born to do this & have been doing hair & makeup for friends & family since I was a just a little boy. Instead of playing "house" I played "beauty shop!" -Andre La Mode
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
In my opinion anyone can do makeup, go to school become certified & call themselves a makeup artist. Although A true quality professional has years of experience & practice under their belt through a series of trial & error experiences along with an extensive knowledge of tools, product , maintenance & skincare.
