We recently hired Stacey for our wedding of approximately 150 people. She was absolutely phenomenal! She has an extensive list of drinks to choose from, and then sends you every single ingredient and the quantities of those that you need to purchase for her. She did all the prep after that: fruit and herb cutting, mixers, etc. She also came with all of her own tools. The drinks were delicious and she and her assistant were SO MUCH FUN! Even the day after the wedding, everyone kept coming up and saying how much they loved our bartenders. They were the perfect balance of professional, yet very fun and engaging. We will be looking for excuses to bring Stacey back again!Dec 11, 2018Verified
I used Flavors of Magick to provide bartender services for a party I hosted in my home. The owner was so easy to work with. And, she went above and beyond what I expected. She helped me put together a list of specialty cocktails and she sent me a grocery list of everything to buy (with quantities and estimated prices). It made everything so easy for me. On the day of the event she showed up on time and did a great job setting up. My guests had a wonderful experience and the drinks were fabulous.Jan 29, 2018VerifiedFlavors of Magick's reply
Thank you for inviting me, Lynn. Couldn't have asked for a more gracious hostess. Hugs!
I hired Stacy to bartend at all home games for our Stanford Tailgate ranging from 25-50 people per game. She was fantastic. Everyone raved about her friendliness and competence. I would give her the best possible recommendation. Glen SchofieldNov 30, 2017VerifiedFlavors of Magick's reply
Thank you, Glen. You guys make tailgating so much fun! I'm grateful for the opportunity & can't wait to see you next year!
Stacey was an outstanding bartender and amazing part of our speakeasy party. She helped us think through the planning of the bar, mixed lots of tasty drinks, managed a crowded bar scene with aplomb, and even wore a flapper dress to the party so that she fit right in. She was also incredibly easy to deal with, responsive, and competitive in her pricing. We would definitely work with her again!Oct 23, 2017VerifiedFlavors of Magick's reply
Thank you, Warren! It was such a wonderful experience & I do feel blessed to have been a part of it. You have my number. Feel free to call upon me anytime. ☺
We hired Flavors of Magick to bartend at my husband's 50's birthday party. The experience was exceptional from start to finish. When I stated that we were having a tiki theme, Stacy was enthusiastic about the prospect and helped up to build an exciting and varied drink menu. She checked in regularly leading up to the event and I was comfortable and confident that all was going to go smoothly. The day of the event she (and her helper) showed up in plenty of time to help with the bar setup and to review the drink menus and get everything settled before guests arrived. We had a good sized crowd of 'professional drinkers' and Stacy and her crew kept them all from going thirsty as well as kept them entertained with her amazing attitude. She executed the complicated tiki drinks with style and aplomb - and improvised as needed. When the party didn't 'wind down' when we expected she checked in with me, and we were able to easily negotiate an extension her original quote so that I could continue to enjoy the party and our guests without having to worry about the bar and drinks. Overall I am beyond pleased with the experience. I would use Flavors of Magick again, and would whole hardheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for bartenders in the future.Oct 13, 2017VerifiedFlavors of Magick's reply
Thank you so very much. We couldn't have asked for a better, more eccentric group to entertain. You, my dear, can call me anytime!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Standard pricing is determined by a few things. Distance, duration of the event, setup/cleaning fees, cost of ingredients/supplies, & whether or not tips are allowed (for bartending events). Negotiations are acceptable, just be fair.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Compatibility and communication are extremely important. It has to be the right fit for both parties. If, as a customer, certain attributes/attire are either required or unacceptable for you, please let me know ahead of time. I do have inoffensive tattoos that can be covered easily if need be.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Classically trained in Bartending & Mixology. Granny & self trained in the kitchen.
