Nicholas gave me a quote through email. I told him I would bring him my laptop to look at when I would be able to pay him, but he said bring it to him so he could look at it, and if it needed a new fan he would order and pay for it, then I can reimburse him. When I took the laptop to him, he said he would see if the fans are just dirty or if I needed new ones. He also said he would check for viruses clean at no extra charge. Nicholas kept me up to date and told me I needed a new fan and that he ordered it already. Overall it took about 2days to repair. And the fan he ordered came with an extra gift. When he opened the box with the new fan, it came with a keyboard cover to keep dust out. I was very happy with his work. My laptop runs like new. The new fan is very quiet, and is not over heating anymore. I would recommended Nicholas over the electronics stores or the manufacturer. Anytime.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I charge a flat rate fee for all my jobs. $60. Thats it. You know what you will be charged right up front. If you only need virus/spyware removal I only charge half price. ($30) If you need a part to repair your computer, I will find the cheapest price online

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am always learning more and technology is always progressing. It is a never ending pursuit of passion and I love to see the new places technology is enhancing our lives. I am currently in the process of getting my MCTS server 2008 and Active Directory Certifications.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I fix all types of issues from broken hardware, screen replacements, installing and upgrading Windows/other OS's, hardware upgrades, blue screens, slow performance, boot problems, viruses, peripherals, backup/restore, drivers, broken keyboards, you name it.
