I truly believe that any and everyone can learn to dance. And I also believe that not everyone learns the same way. My approach to teaching is one of detailed consideration of how my individual students learn, move, and progress. Laughters always proven to be the best teacher so we’ll do a whole lot of that as well. I’ve been dancing for over 20years, competitive ballroom in my youth, and now I love to give the gift of dance to others.

Bobby was absolutely incredible. He was patient beyond words. My fiancé and I got lessons for our first dance at our wedding and Bobby was able to teach us non dancers a beautiful dance that we feel confident in doing at our wedding. Bobby’s energy is infectious and so fun. He was able to sense my fiancés hesitancy in the first lesson and truly took the time to get him comfortable and meet us where we are at. Such a professional, if you’re looking for dancelessons of any kind, look no further!!

My husband and I have never danced before so Bobby had his work cut out in having to teach us. He was so professional and his bright positive energy was so contagious. We loved his energy! He made sure we were comfortable and not self conscious since we didn’t know what we were doing. He was so patient and had us dancing and moving together within 2 hours. That is a miracle!! 😅 On top of that, we loved it and it was so enjoyable! I actually had to drag my husband there to begin with, but he had a great time and was singing his praises all the way home and now can’t wait for our next lesson. We were so happy we found him! Bobby choreographed and taught my hip-hop father/daughter dance for my wedding this December! He listens to your vision and makes it come to life through dancer-specific level of choreography/teaching. Our lessons have been so fun and Bobby has a was of making you feel comfortable. Special circumstances such as events, group numbers, quinceañeras, wedding party dances, etc. are always up for negotiation on what works best for what you’re looking for and a price that fair for the both of us.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Manatee School for the Arts, Florida School of the Arts, and New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Long standing member of Spats Cats performing dance troupe based out of Southern Florida. Choreographed and performed in Florida, New York City, Nor Cal, and Los Angeles.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started learning ballroom dancing at the age of 13. By the age of 15 I was competing and performing all over Southern Florida with a ballroom troupe called Spats Cats. There’s where I found my love for performing and teaching as we traveled all over Florida bringing smiles to peoples faces through dance. My passion for teaching was really birthed in that space and I haven’t stopped since.
