I’m a nationally award winning journalist with over a decade of professional experiencing capturing weddings, portraits, and more. I describe my style as timeless with a photojournalistic approach. It’s important for me to help my couples be comfortable but also capture unstaged moments throughout the day. I'm not here only as your photographer but to tell the story surrounding your special day! I love being able to capture those beautiful moments that may go unnoticed everyday. In addition to hiring me as your photographer I work with you on timelines and how we can be efficient with time on your day. Sadly we were not able to have Ananda do our photo shoot. However, I would like to say that Anandas responses were quick, efficient and detailed, and her professional replies gave me the impression that we would have been happy with the end result.

We hired Ananda for a last minute decision to have a wedding in November. We planned our wedding in 2 months time! Ananda was perfect! Because of our last minute decision, we were not planning to take any engagement photos, but she made it super easy for us. She is located in Sacramento. Our wedding was to be held in Sacramento, but we live in the Bay Area. She was nice enough to meet us in San Francisco to take our engagement photos! We appreciated her organization and time management. Prior to the wedding, she emailed us a questionnaire asking where will the bride get ready, who are the bridesmaids/groomsmen/parents of the bride and groom etc., addresses of the reception/venue. This was reassuring. She was punctual. This was important to us to have someone who is timely! During the wedding, she took many candid photos in which we loved. She also took pictures of the guests as they waited for the bride and groom to enter the ceremony and reception area. Those photos were awesome. We actually developed them and sent them along with our Thank-You Cards. The quality of her photos are extraordinary! Top notch! She was able to get the pictures back to us in 2 weeks time after the wedding. Even faster for the engagement photos. I believe it was 3-4 days. She is also very very sweet! She gave us a wedding gift as well as a baby gift as my husband and I are expecting! -Clark and Erica Torres

Ana did our engagement and she was amazing! She is super fun to work with and helps you relax for the camera. She also really knows what she is doing and takes awesome pictures. The photos were so good, we have them printed and will be all over our house. We could not have been happier with our experience. And definitely recommending her for any of your photo needs be it engagement or wedding . She listen to you and your request which is really important! My pictures were amazing!

My prices reflect my experience, time, and talent. I am a licensed photographer in Northern California and love what I do!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We only accept a few weddings and portrait shoots a year to ensure quality of editing and time with our clients. It's not about me but about you. I want to make sure your photos reflect your personality and what you're looking for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Georgetown University master's educated. I got trained with professionals in the field from NPR who showed me a different approach in taking photos. They explained to me how important it is to document people's lives without forcing something to happen. Beauty happens naturally through a lens but only some photographers see it.
