Steve is the man! My wooden fence was pretty much turned to mulch and being held up by some bushes that have overgrown....which is actually aesthetically pleasing. The fence was also leaning outwards, obstructing about 40% of the sidewalk. So we decided instead of replacing the fence (and chopping vines) we would reinforce it. Got 3 estimates. All basically said the fence needs to be replace. I explained to them that we actually like the growth on the fence and want to keep it. 2 of the pros said "Naaah, can't do it" which I felt was the lazy response...only Rusberg was open to taking on the challenge. I must say he did and did a great job for more than 60% off the cost of replacing the fence. Very happy with the end result and the sidewalk is now 100% clear and the vine fence is being supported and no longer leaning. The work was very clean too.

Wanted to share about working with Steve at Rusberg to build a deck. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, including planning, drawings, and permits. He was easy to work with and highly knowledgeable in his trade. His experience showed throughout the project, as he helped us choose the right materials. The deck turned out great. I'd only recommend this company if you want a quality deck installer that's easy to work with.Would give them 10 if i could.

He came out and gave me an awesome number to do my fence. Told me it’d take 2 days and it did. Fence was as straight as an arrow and the front fence was done so that anyone driving by would be amazed. Id highly recommend this contractor.

Steve was an absolute Godsend. Our dogs had dug beneath the footings of our two story deck making the entire structure unsafe. We get massive snowfall and we have kids so we wanted our new deck to be built like a fortress. He came and discussed the options and worked with me and actually helped me understand what he was going to do and why he was going to do it that way. Everyone else treated me like a nuisance whereas he treated me like a friend. Professional, courteous, goes beyond expectation and his craftsmanship is impeccable. 5 stars isnt enough

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My training and education in this field came through hands-on experience working alongside my father, who spent over four decades in the construction industry. From an early stage, I learned the fundamentals of quality craftsmanship, proper building practices, and the importance of doing the job right the first time.
Working with him provided real-world education that goes beyond textbooks—learning how to plan projects, select the right materials, follow safety standards, and adapt to real job-site conditions. Just as importantly, I learned the value of honesty, professionalism, and treating customers with respect.
This foundation has shaped how I approach every project today, combining time-tested methods with modern techniques to deliver durable, high-quality results.
