I was fortunate enough to have been introduced to Anne to do my hair and makeup for my sisters wedding about 3 months ago. Had I known she was this good in doing hair and makeup, I wouldve hired her for previous events that I had! She did an amazing job on both my makeup and hair and I could not be happier. As someone who rarely wears makeup, one of my biggest fears was having it turn out to be overly exaggerated makeup (which is fine for certain types of events). However, I am the type of person who prefers the cleaner, and more natural look. Prior to meeting up with Anne, I had gathered photos of hair and makeup ideas that I wanted her to recreate for me. In addition to my research, Anne sat down with me to customize and discuss the details of my goals and needs for the wedding. I was anxious about the final look, especially the hair because I have extremely stubborn straight black hair that does not want to hold a curl to save my life. However, Anne made me feel calm and confident about the final result. She was also so kind to even give me makeup techniques and pointers, if I ever wanted to recreate the look on my own! This was completely unexpected, but I was extremely grateful for the knowledge that she provided to me during the pre-session interview. On the day of the event, Anne was able to create a look that was simple, natural, elegant, sophisticated, and with an edge of sexiness! I am amazed on how quickly Anne was able to complete the look at a reasonable amount of time considering the extent of difficulty of doing my hair in the past. During the event, I just kept receiving compliments left and right about the entire look and even inquiries about the mastermind behind it all! Needless to say, I was overly thrilled about the entire look. Anne nailed it effortlessly without any complications whatsoever! I definitely had to share with anyone who would listen or displayed any interest in knowing about Anne and the expertise that she possesses in this field of hair and makeup. If you are looking to decrease your stress of searching for a flexible, expert makeup artist and hair extroadinaire, then stop looking an give Anne a call already! If you ask me, I do not have anything negative to say about Annes work because her work exceeded my expectations and she made it such a pleasant experience through it all! Awesome job Anne! I absolutely love your work and would not trust anyone else to do my makeup or hair for my future important events. So, Ill be calling you in the future Anne!!

Anne is an excellent hair and make up artist. Pick any hairstyle and she will do it to perfection! First time Anne did my hair, I told her exactly what I wanted. She did such an amazing job and has such a good eye that the next 8 times she did my hair, I simply just showed her my dress and have her decide what will look best and viola, I turn into a beauty! Make up wise, Anne is very detailed oriented. I don't have very big eyes and she made them look huge with top and lower lashes. She also explained to me that my lipstick color that I've been using has been all wrong. With my skin tone, I needed a more pink base and I've been using brown tones. I do have to say, after switching to the pink tone, I look much much better! Anne is amazing with eye shadowing blending and her eyebrows are perfection. I can't be happier with any make up artist! Five stars for sure!

Anne is the BEST! She will make you look amazing. I absolutely loved my bachelorette party makeup (which I used as my makeup trial), and my wedding makeup got so many rave reviews from friends. She honestly went above and beyond in so many ways. You will NOT be disappointed if you hire Anne. Oh, she did my wedding hair too, and it turned out perfect!

Anne does a wonderful job on her work. She does an outstanding job in such little time. She can also be a great friend she also does a great job at multitasking she could talk to you and share her experiences with you that you can relate to. I had my make up done by her twice and hopefully I would have an event soon so I can book her again. She wonderful, sweet, and encouraging!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Some complications we may experience is that I don't take credit cards or take personal checks. I only take money order, cashiers checks or cash.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My services and work keeps me busy ;) I learn new techniques every time I work with a client. It could be customer services, or designing a hair. Reading up on new trends helps too. I'm always up to date!!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided that this is what I wanted to do when I realized how good I am and how talented I am with makeup & hair. I really have the talent for this. Makeup and hair styling have always been my passion. Knowing that I can make a difference in people's lives and being able to be a part of your day and event is so awesome!!
