FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a pizza delivery driver years ago and I always had the hardest time finding addresses on houses. It always seemed like there was a tree or something in the way of the address or it was just too dark to see. These painted addresses made quite a difference getting the pizza to customers hot and on time. Many delivery drivers need to drive by your house at least once before they realize where it is. This could be a life saver for an ambulance trying to find your home.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My favorite story to tell about my work is one time when I was returning to a neighborhood that I had painted curbs in, coming acorss one of my old customers he stopped me to tell me that the red, white and blue curb I had painted for him a year before had saved his life. He told me that he had recently had a heart attack and had to call 911. They told him that his address on his curb made all the difference in finding him and may have saved his life.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It doesn't matter if your address is on your house, most houses have addresses on them somewhere, if it be in visable 8 inch numbers on your garage or 1 inch numbers on your mailbox next to your front door. Getting your address painted makes a difference because no one can miss it painted boldly on the curb just off the driveway with a refective background.
